SUMMARY:The Purple Duck Chase
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Epilepsy Awareness Day at Elitch Gardens and the Purple Duck Chase\, all happening on Saturday\, July 11\, 2026. \nAnyone anywhere can sponsor ducks and join in the fun.  Purple Ducks will race down the Lazy River of Elitch Gardens in the 10th Annual Purple Duck Chase.  Duck sponsorships start at $5.00 with discounts for multiples. Go to the registration site and click on “Get Tickets” and the duck sponsor options are toward the bottom of the list. The race will air live on facebook so you can enjoy the thrill of watching them race. \nDucks will be numbered and numbers published on the registration site as we get to closer to the race.   Cash prizes will be awarded to the sponsors of the first three ducks to cross the finish line\, adding an extra element of excitement to this entertaining event. It’s a fantastic way to engage with the festivities and contribute to the cause.

Take advantage of our special offer with highly discounted daily tickets that can be easily upgraded to a season pass within the park on that day if you wish. Each ticket includes a stub that allows you to conveniently upgrade your pass. \nIn addition to the fantastic theme park experience\, an ice cream social is included in your day.  Enjoy ice cream and soft drinks while relaxing in a covered and shaded pavilion. A great oppoortunity to connect with others in the epilepsy community. This will take place in the Mt. Evans pavilion between 2:00-4:00 PM. \nIf you’re already a season’s pass holder and would like to join us\, we’d be delighted to have you! Please register on this site so that we can have you in the ice cream count. \nEvent tshirts are available for a minimal charge if you’d like to enhance your experience. If not\, we ask that you wear as much purple as you can in the park that day so we can recognize and connect with one another. \nAs a special perk\, registered participants and registered Season Pass holders who are registered\, will be granted early access into the park\, allowing you to enjoy the Purple Duck Chase festivities from the start. SUMMARY:STOMP Out Epilepsy and SUDEP 5K/1 Mile Family Fun Walk
DESCRIPTION:The 17th Annual STOMP Out Epilepsy and SUDEP takes place on September 26\, 2026 at at Hudson Gardens in Littleton\, Colorado. We will host a self-timed 5K run/walk\, in addition to a Family Fun Walk throughout the gardens.  Preregister before September 24\, 2026. \nHudson Gardens\, 6115 S Santa Fe Drive\, Littleton\, CO   80120 \nCheck in and Walk-up Registration starts at 7:30 AM. \n5K starts at 9:00 AM and the 1 Mile Family Fun Walk immediately after. \nIf you are walking in memory of a family member taken by epilepsy\, please let us know so that we can include you in our brief but memorable remembrance celebration. \nBack by popular demand are our long-sleeved tshirts  Read on for an opportunity to have your team name printed on the event shirts. \nIncluded in your admission are the best face painters around\, characters and more..  We will have some wonderful vendors too. \nFunds raised through this event provide some funding for fully-trained seizure-response dogs\, life-saving movement monitors for those in need and wish trips to Epilepsy Awareness Expo and Day at Disneyland and Disney World and Purple Day Expo at Disney World. \n
