The Purple Duck Chase

Join us for Epilepsy Awareness Day at Elitch Gardens and the Purple Duck Chase, all happening on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Anyone anywhere can sponsor ducks and join in the fun.  Purple Ducks will race down the Lazy River of Elitch Gardens in the 10th Annual Purple Duck Chase.  Duck sponsorships start at $5.00 with discounts for multiples. Go to the registration site and click on “Get Tickets” and the duck sponsor options are toward the bottom of the list. The race will air live on facebook so you can enjoy the thrill of watching them race.

Ducks will be numbered and numbers published on the registration site as we get to closer to the race.   Cash prizes will be awarded to the sponsors of the first three ducks to cross the finish line, adding an extra element of excitement to this entertaining event. It’s a fantastic way to engage with the festivities and contribute to the cause.
